Albert Roy Cease Longtime resident of Fremont Passed away peacefully on April 24, 2011 in his Fremont home. Albert was born in Hayward on April 29, 1936. Albert was in the 5th Air Force from 1955 to 1959, being stationed in Korea, Japan, and USA. Albert worked for 38 years at the Hunts-United Can Company in Hayward. Albert retired from United Can, Hayward in 1996. Albert spent many years in the 70's and 80's as a head coach for various teams in the Fremont American Little League. Albert was a member of R.O.M.E.O. at Bridges Community Church. Albert was deeply loved by his family and friends. Albert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda; son, David Cease & daughter-in-law Maria Cease; mom, Joyce Cease; siblings, Irene Trammel (Ed), John Cease (Jessie), Margaret Cease; 11 grandchildren, Raechel Godchaux (Todd), Jamie Jamerson (Charles), Catherine Moorman-Cease, Laurie Roberson, Samantha Cease, Joseph Cease, Jessie Williams, Joshua Cease, Nicole Williams, Cody Williams, Daniel Cease. 9 great-grandchildren, Kyndra, Athena, Jacob, CJ, Alex, Jaylynn, Jayden, Tommy, Elijah. Albert was preceded in death by his dad, John Cease; mother, Thelma Atherton; sister, Ruth Hightower. Albert's friendly-loving personality, sense of humor, and willingness to help everybody attitude will be greatly missed.
